At First Christian Church, we believe that all children are treasures from God and have been blessed with unique talents and gifts. With this in mind, the Children's Christian Education Committee strives to provide a loving and nurturing environment in which each child can grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, building a personal relationship with Him. In accordance with God's Word, our mission is to provide Christian Education for all children, focusing on foundational Biblical teaching and imparting Christian values which encourage individual faith development and spiritual growth.

2nd/3rd Grade - Room 204

Teachers: Bob Woods, Staci Probst

The classes for Three & Four years olds through Third Graders use LifeWay's The Gospel Project for Kids  curriculum. The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story - the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. Each week, kids of all ages will follow a chronological timeline of Bible events, all the while learning how each story points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Fourth/Fifth Grade - Room 201

Teachers: Tom Crookes

The Fourth and Fifth Graders use the Gospel Light Sunday School curriculum, which guides children to develop their own personal relationship with Jesus.

Sixth Grade Pastor's Class - Room 210

Teachers: Heather Errante and Amy Tuck

Teachers Heather and Amy will focus the curriculum to cover Bible basics: the Old and New Testaments, the Old Covenant between God and His people, the prophesies of Jesus’ birth, the New Covenant in Jesus, Jesus’ life and teachings, the Resurrection of Jesus leading to Salvation, and the history of the Church. This is a full nine months of foundational teaching that will lead your child to a place of decision to accept and follow Jesus, becoming a member of the Body here at FCC. Your child will then be given an opportunity to be Baptized on Palm Sunday. We encourage you to make every effort to have your child attend Sunday School this year.
